PERENCANAAN KEBUTUHAN NYATA OPERASI DAN PEMELIHARAAN (AKNOP) CHECK DAM SOYA SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA AIR DI DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI WAI TOMU, KOTA AMBON

Abstract

The planned Soya Check Dam in the Wai Tomu Watershed, Ambon City, is a sediment control structure aimed at reducing sedimentation rates and maintaining river flow stability. This research is motivated by the need to plan the Actual Needs for Operation and Maintenance (AKNOP) from the design stage to ensure optimal and sustainable performance after construction. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the technical design data of the Soya Check Dam, (2) to estimate the required operation and maintenance after construction, and (3) to prepare the AKNOP document as an integral part of the planning process. The literature review covers the AKNOP concept, the functions and components of a check dam, and operation and maintenance guidelines for sediment control structures issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR). The methodology includes collecting technical design data, hydrological data, unit price information, and relevant literature and standards. The analysis is carried out based on official guidelines to produce a practical operation and maintenance plan applicable to the future implementation stage.
